Born and raised in Richmond, KY, Madeline Lee discovered her passion for the hustle and bustle of the hospitality industry at the age of 15. After working at the same restaurant through high school and college, Madeline graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in human resources and moved to Nashville as a traveling human resources assistant. It wasn’t long before she missed the camaraderie of the restaurant world and walked away from her corporate life.
Madeline has been a part of the Noko team since opening day, starting as a server before working her way up to Assistant General Manager. Her background in human resources and passion for helping people create memories through food inform her role at Noko and next-door sister restaurant Kase x Noko, where she’s actively involved in cultivating a sustainable workplace culture. Considering the growth Madeline has experienced individually and within her team, she is confident this is just the beginning of the ripple effect they are pursuing for positive change across the restaurant industry.
In her free time, Madeline enjoys gardening, exploring the outdoors and new restaurants, attending music festivals, and spending time with her cat.
